Recording HD Channels with Magnavox DVD Recorder.? - can magnavox record dvd to hd
Hello,
I tried to an HDTV with my Magnavox DVD recorder and everything I have record a black screen. You need some kind of converter? What am I doing wrong? Please help!

You can not watch HD programs with a DVD recorder!
You can record HD programming with DVR (the one with the high-HDD)
The problem is that most HD-DVD recorders are not covered. You need an HDTV downscale but you will find it costs more than a combined HDTV receivers, DVD, and the size is reduced in one unit.
